Burt Reynolds passed away at his home in Jupiter, Florida, on Thursday at the age of 82. Reynolds starred in such hits as Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run andDeliverance, and received an Oscar nomination for his comeback turn in 1997’s Boogie Nights. One of the most popular leading men of the ’70s and ’80s, he was a macho sex symbol who never shied away from showing off his ample chest hair. His marriage to WKRP star Loni Anderson was one of the first modern tabloid romances.
