Katy Perry met Celine Dion backstage at her concert in Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday. Both singers shared photos of themselves together on Instagram. Katy posted photos and wrote, “CELINE DION SHOWED ME HOW TO DO THE FAMOUS CHEST SLAP AND I DID IT TO HER WHILE SINGING FIREWORK AND I BECAME A FIREWORK.” Celine also shared a photo captioned it, “A California girl and a girl from Quebec meet in Australia! You’re the best Katy, thanks for the amazing show! Love you.”
Adam Levine has apologized after accusing MTV of ignoring Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” video at the 2018 VMAs. Later tweeting, “S**t. I don’t usually put my foot in my mouth. But this time, I did. …I stand corrected. Bad intel. So I guess MTV doesn’t suck quite as badly as I had originally thought.” In his original post, Levine described the “This Is America” visual as “one of the most impactful, thought-provoking, and intelligent videos ever made.” He added, “I still want MTV to mean something again. But it won’t. Ever. K bye.”
Leonardo DiCaprio and Jessica Biel are reportedly joining forces to create a reboot of the ’80s sitcom The Facts of Life. According to Deadline, DiCaprio’s company Appian Way and Biel’s Iron Ocean Films are in negotiations to produce the project. A spinoff of Diff’rent Strokes, Facts of Life aired on NBC from 1979 to 1988.
