The 911 call made from Demi Lovato’s home during her overdose has leaked. In the call, Demi’s assistant asks for the paramedics to use “no sirens” in order to keep the situation as private as possible. “This is a medical emergency… I don’t have any control over that,” the dispatcher replies. The clip doesn’t contain any information about Lovato’s alleged overdose. However, sources say Demi was downing shots and using drugs–including meth–to celebrate one of her backup dancer’s birthdays on Monday night. She then invited everyone back to her home in the early hours of Tuesday to continue partying. Her assistant became concerned when Lovato didn’t come out of her bedroom that morning and discovered her unconscious in bed at roughly 11 a.m. She then called 911. When Lovato regained consciousness, she allegedly refused to tell the EMTS what drugs she had taken.
Demi is still in the hospital and her family is reportedly worried about her being discharged, realizing they are not out of the woods yet and are very concerned that she doesn’t see the severity of her issues and are worried because she thinks she can control her addiction.” The source goes on to say that Lovato has agreed to go to rehab–but told her family and friends that she believes she can kick her drug habit on her own.
