Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t have much time to themselves, as they’ve decided to head straight back to work this week. They had two receptions on Saturday, hosted by the Queen and Prince of Wales. They apparently skipped the traditional slow first dance for a livelier tune. They choose “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” as an opening number, with guests being treated to a sit-down dinner. The grand finale saw 200 people join a black tie dinner at Frogmore House. It was a festival-themed party featuring burger bar stalls, whiskey bars, candy floss, games to play, acts performing, a DJ with a dance floor, and a huge game of beer pong. Yup, beer pong at the Royal Wedding! Guests were also offered a cocktail called “When Harry Met Meghan,” a rum-based drink with a hint of ginger ale. They won’t be leaving for their honeymoon right away, but when they do, countries like Botswana could be top of the list. But the couple will probably spend their first few days in Ireland making their inaugural overseas trip as a married couple to the Republic. Meghan has apparently gotten permission to use her power to fight for women’s rights, and even broke tradition at the reception by giving her own speech. The Duke and Duchess thanked everyone who took part in the wedding celebrations and released three official photographs.
