Yesterday, Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon officially announced her bid to be New York’s next governor. She would be the first woman ever elected to lead the Empire State (she’d also be New York’s first openly gay governor) In a video announcing her candidacy she said “We are sick of politicians who care more about headlines and power than they do about us. It can’t just be business as usual anymore.”
Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter and announced she has gained 40lbs during her pregnancy, but not in any of the right places. “Up 40 pounds and not one ounce went to my butt. Please stop shaming the buttless, we are trying.” She went on to reveal an important rule for pregnant women. “Just a heads up that when a preggo says what they’ve gained, you can only share what you gained if it’s more. Not less,” she wrote. “THEMS THE RULES.”
The stars of Stranger Things have scored major pay raises for the third season. The new deals for the kid actors are worth roughly 12 times their previous salaries. It’s unclear how much breakout star Millie Bobby Brown will make, or Eleven, it was revealed that the 14-year-old separated herself from the rest of the cast during the renegotiation and is at least making the $250,000 the other younger actors are earning. Some sources have suggested, however, that Brown may be getting closer to $350,000 per episode. Netflix has yet to reveal when season three will premiere.
