Taylor Swift premiered her “Delicate” music video at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. In the video, she plays an A-list celebrity who can’t go anywhere without being recognized–until she’s given a wish to be invisible. Taylor is then able to dance around her hotel and onto a subway without being noticed. The clip also features a sly nod to the singer’s real life boyfriend Joe Alwyn, when she dances down a city street and past a sign for “Joe’s Deli.” Entertainment Tonight reports that “Delicate” was filmed over two nights in downtown Los Angeles and features historic landmarks such as the Los Angeles Theatre and Biltmore Hotel. “Delicate” is the latest single off Taylor’s Reputation album.
A nun involved in a legal dispute with Katy Perry over an 8-acre former convent died in court on Friday. 89-year-old Sister Catherine Rose Holzman was in court for a hearing related to the case when she collapsed. Just hours before her death, she publicly begged Perry to stop trying to purchase the convent. “To Katy Perry, please stop. It’s not doing anyone any good except hurting a lot of people.” Perry tried to buy the Los Angeles-based Catholic convent for $14.5 million back in 2014. But Holzman and another nun, who disapproved of Perry after watching her music videos, tried to block the sale of their former home and sell it to a local businesswoman who wanted to turn it into a boutique hotel. They, along with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, have since been involved in a lengthy legal battle.
