Dylan Farrow has accused Justin Timberlake of being a hypocrite for working with Woody Allen yet claiming he supports the Time’s Up movement. Timberlake tweeted this week, “Random question: Can someone please explain the saying, ‘You just want your cake and to eat it too.’ What else am I about to do with a cake?” Farrow was quick to respond. “The saying means, for example, you can’t support #TIMESUP and praise sexual predators at the same time,” she wrote. “You can’t retain your credibility as an activist (i.e. – retain the cake) and, at the same time, praise a sexual predator (i.e. – eating the cake).” Farrow has long alleged that Allen sexually abused her when she was a child. Timberlake recently worked with Allen on the 2017 film Wonder Wheel.
A source close to James Franco says he is “somewhat relieved” that he didn’t get nominated for his part in The Disaster Artist by The Academy’s 2018 Oscars nominations. “James is disappointed in not getting an Oscar nomination, but… He doesn’t want it to look like the snub is correlated with the allegations against him.” The source adds, “James is trying to get through this rocky patch and is really leaning on his family right now and trying to stay under the radar as much as possible.” Earlier this month, five women accused the 39-year-old actor of sexual misconduct.
