Nicki Minaj shared a video on Instagram of herself lip-syncing her new track “Big Bank,” which contains the lyrics, “Told ’em I met Slim Shady, bag the M / Once he go black, he’ll be back again.” When a fan asked if the lines meant they were dating, she replied with “Yes.” The internet soon began buzzing that Minaj and Emnem were dating.
Eminem addressed the reports during his concert in Boston. “Let me make sure so I can actually make this official. How many people in Boston want me to date Nicki Minaj?” he asked. After the crowd cheered, he replied, “Well, goddamnit, me too.” The rapper added, “Nicki if you get this message, just text me later, we’ll talk about it.” Minaj obviously saw video of the concert because she tweeted, “LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The fact that he’s silly & a goof just like me. Love him so much. Em we need you on the #Queen album. That’s where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse.”
Meanwhile, Nicki’s upcoming album Queen has been delayed until August 10. On Instagram Live, she added, “The album itself I think I want to put out on August 10. I want to put out my second single, which I’m really, really excited about, and I want to now start an official countdown.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly heading to Alberta, Canada, for their honeymoon. According to insiders, they will stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in the mountains. The same lodge that housed the current Queen and Prince Philip back in 2005. It also hosted King George VI and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother 80 years ago.
Kensington Palace revealed Markle’s royal coat of arms on Friday. “The blue background of the shield represents the Pacific Ocean off the California coast, while the two golden rays across the shield are symbolic of the sunshine of The Duchess’s home state,” the palace said in a statement. “The three quills represent communication and the power of words. Beneath the shield on the grass sits a collection of golden poppies, California’s state flower, and wintersweet, which grows at Kensington Palace.”
