TIME revealed its 2018 “100 Most Influential People” list yesterday, a group that includes Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Tiffany Haddish, Roseanne, Donald Trump, Adam Rippon, Rihanna, and the student activists of Parkland, Florida. A few of the others on this year’s list are, This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown, Daily Show host Trevor Noah, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and star Chadwick Boseman, pop star Shawn Mendes, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
TIME asked each nominated individual to ask another well-known person to speak on behalf of their accomplishments. Rihanna asked Adele–and Adele super fan-girled over her. Adele said, “Whenever I’ve met her, she’s been the most gracious, loyal and funny goofball of an icon. She glows like when someone’s taken a picture with a flash and you’re dazed for a few minutes after. But it’s also very clear in that glow that she genuinely doesn’t give a f**k; she’s fearless and full of all the right kind of attitude to be everything that she is and will be forever.”
Kim Kardashian West announced yesterday that she, and sisters Kourtney and Khloe, have decided to close all of their DASH boutiques. “We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families,” Kim wrote on her website. “We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on.” The news came a day after Kim retweeted a 50-percent-off code to the DASH store in celebration of Kourtney’s birthday. The Kardashians opened the first DASH store in California in 2006, before adding storefronts in Miami and New York City.
