Taylor Swift made a donation to the youth-led gun reform movement March For Our Lives before the actual march in D.C. on Saturday. “No one should have to go to school in fear of gun violence. Or to a nightclub. Or to a concert. Or to a movie theater. Or to their place of worship,” Taylor wrote on Instagram Friday. “I’ve made a donation to show my support for the students, for the March For Our Lives campaign, for everyone affected by these tragedies, and to support gun reform.” She added, “I’m so moved by the Parkland High School students, faculty, by all families and friends of victims who have spoken out, trying to prevent this from happening again.” Taylor has previously been criticized for not taking a stance on political issues. It’s unclear how much money the pop singer donated to the cause.
Meghan Markle’s healthy lifestyle is apparently rubbing off on Prince Harry. Markle is a “fitness” fanatic” and has inspired Harry to embrace yoga and a more nutritious diet. “He likes to start his day with a green juice now, just like Meghan, and his friends all find this very amusing.” You’ll often see him visiting the gym and he’s given up his beloved Marlboro Lights, or at least he’s smoking less and he’s drinking less.
Drew Barrymore’s still a fan of Jake Gyllenhall after dissing his acting talent this week on The Late Late Show With James Corden. Drew held a sign saying “I Love Jake Gyllenhaal” at the season-two premiere of her Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet after ranking him less talented than Adam Sandler and Hugh Grant. “I had to either eat turkeys’ testicles yesterday on James Corden, or like, sell Jake down the river,” “It was all fun and games and then every headline today was like, ‘Drew Barrymore says Jake Gyllenhaal’s the least talented actor she’s ever worked with! When I run into [Gyllenhaal] next time, I’ll be like, ’Dude, it was like selling you down the river or eating turkeys’ b**ls.’ And by the way, I don’t even care if he hates me.”
