Ariana Grande is reportedly getting ready to star in the Broadway musical Wicked. “This is a huge feat for Ariana,” a source tells The Sun. “The role of Elfaba is one of the most coveted parts to play on Broadway. Only a very select group of actresses have been chosen over its 13-year run.” The insider adds, “Bosses believe it’s a bonus that her pop star appeal can pull in fresh audiences.” Broadway actress Jackie Burns has played Elfaba on and off for the past six years. Grande previously gushed on Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke: The Series that she’s a “huge theater nerd” and that her dream role is to play Elfaba in Wicked.
Before 6am on Friday, President Trump tweeted about Alec Baldwin’s interview where he said that impersonating the president on Saturday Night Live is “agony.” Trump misspelled a few words, including Alec’s first name. “Alex Baldwin, whose dieing [sic] mediocre career was saved by his impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing DJT was agony for him,” Trump wrote. “Alex, it was agony for those who were forced to watch.” By 6:07, Trump had deleted that tweet and written a new one with the exact same words, except with all of them spelled correctly. In response, Baldwin tweeted, “Agony though it may be, I’d like to hang in there for the impeachment hearings, the resignation speech, the farewell helicopter ride.” He added that the “Trump Presidential Library” will include “a little black book with the phone numbers of porn stars.
